Weekend Fun

I like to try on Mommy's sunglasses when I find them. I think I look pretty cool!

Uncle Eric came to visit me on Saturday so that Mommy could show the house. I made sure to try on the shirt he gave me for my birthday last week. It is super cute! Izzy liked it, too.

I went to swin class #4 today. My teacher thinks I am doing pretty well! I like to be in the water and can't wait for summer!

Maren took interest in the tulips and daffodils on the side patio while we grilled this afternoon. What great weather!

I can't believe it has been a year. (And I can't believe we all survived!) Maren is turning into quite the little person. She is learning words and understands so much we tell her. She plays games with us and is working on walking. Her newest favorite past time is to see how far she can get up the stairs before someone catches her! We fondly remember our little family a year ago when she surprised us early, but can't imagine going back to that time and leaving this exciting little being~

Birthday Party!

Maren wore a party dress for her party and was very excited!

She had her very own cake to try.

She got to open some great gifts!


Then she tried her cake and cream cheese frosting.

When she was done, her dog-cousin Bubba (who is 95 lbs) helped to clean her up!

Maren wants to thank everyone who came to her 1st birthday party!

Happy Easter! Maren found some eggs today and really liked playing with them. The Bunny brought her some great snacks, bath floaties and a bunny. She was very excited! She also looked quite adorable in her blue, white, and yellow dress.

Swim Lessons, Week 2

This was Maren's second aquatots session. She said "hi" to mommy while she got used to the water (not hard to do since it's a bath!).
