How'd she do that?

How resourceful. All so she could get the nail file.
We had a fun weekend in the Quad Cities going to our friend Melissa's wedding and visiting family!

Memorial Day Weekend in D-Town

The weather was so nice this weekend! Mom was very afraid my sensitive baby skin would get burned...especially since I wouldn't wear a sun hat like she wanted...

Grandpa and I enjoyed some muffins together. We also went for a walk and played on the porch and in the yard. Great Grandma and Grandpa and also Great Auntie Rosie visited too!

Mmmmm. Dairy Queen!

Tricks to getting Daddy's strawberry malt...

Screeeeeeech until you get your first bite.

Sign "more"..... (this is tricky when you can't stand on your own...so brace yourself on Dadd'y knee before you let go.)

Get another bite. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Mother's Day

Just a picture with my Mommy since I love her so much!

Push Toy

Maren finally took an interest in walking with her push toy this week! At the end of the video, the dog barked and scared her, making her fall. But she did a great job and no tears!

What's Up?

What are we up to today? It's a girls day since Daddy is at class again. Only two more days of class after today! We played with the toys this morning. Climbed all the way up the stairs carrying a link of rings, took a nap, and pulled books off the shelf many times again. It's nice and sunny today, but a little chilly! (Yes, those ARE hawkeye pj's!)

Weekend Review

What a lovely weekend! Today's weather was absolutely perfect in my opinion. I took some pictures of Maren in the sun and Lee took some of her in the backyard. Wow, grass has been funny! I wish I would have had the camera the first time we actually put her in the grass. The "superman" pose was the funniest when she was on the belly! If her hands or feet touched the grass, she raised them up! We also had our last swimming lesson of the session. Since it was so nice outside, going into the very warm swim center wasn't as appealing. I can't wait for outdoor swim time! Lee stayed home to host our open house, so my fingers are crossed we have some serious interest this week.

Wishing you a great week!
