Maren and I are starting to get used to a snow day each week. It's nice to stay in our pajamas a little longer in the morning. Maren is tuckered out and napping right now, but she has spent the morning chasing Izzy and Izzy's toys.
Maren likes to retrieve them for Izzy, but hasn't figured out how to throw them yet. 
This kind of drives the dog crazy.
As for snow, we got 7.5 inches over night (per the weatherman), so, when I add up the totals since last Friday night, we should have about 19-20 inches on the ground right now. Plus for those of you who live down south (you KNOW you are missing Iowa right now...) the sun is beautiful today, but you can only go out for 15 mins before getting frost bite. The temp is supposed to frop to -6 by this afternoon and reach a whopping high of -14 or something tomorrow.

Wow, it's cold there! Glad we're not living in iowa now. It's cold here too, but still 20 degrees. People thinks its cold here if it drops to single digits, they don't know the negative temps. :) Love the pics, Maren is just too cute!
Oh, how cute is that! Izzy is so intense; ready to go after it. Has she started to bark at Maren for not throwing it?
